Northstar is a fantastic choice for snowboarders as well as skiers, as it offers seven terrain
parks, one super-pipe (over 120m) and one half-pipe. The ski resort also caters specifically to young skiers and snowboarders, with specially designed 'paw parks'. These terrain parks are built just for kids. Everything is just their size. The parks are designed with bumps, jumps, and secret hideouts. There are also special snow play areas where they can kick off their skis and snowboards and just have fun in the snow. Northstar also has a daycare programme for kids aged 2-6years and includes arts and crafts, science, singing, lots of laughter and storytelling. Fun learn to ski options are available through Minors' Camp as well.
 
No matter how you like to come down the mountain, you'll find what you like at Northstar; loads of freshly groomed powder and bumps, snowmobiling, snow toys, snow biking, snow skating and dog sledding. The ski resort has been recently refurbished, and Northstar Village is a world of its own, fully
equipped with bars, restaurants, shops, groceries, a sports centre and much more. The new ice skating facility is located in the heart of the Village at Northstar. Surrounded by a collection of fire pits and seating areas and is the perfect setting for sipping hot chocolate and roasting s'mores.
