Nestled in a beautiful valley in the magnificent eastern slopes of California's High Sierra, Mammoth is surrounded by snow covered mountain peaks and glittering alpine meadows. It is an enormous complex with 28 lifts, 3,500 acres of skiable terrain incorporating 150 named trails and a vertical drop of 3,100 feet; Mammoth - no other mountain lives up to its name.

As you would expect from a resort of this size all levels of skier ability, from beginner to expert, are very well catered for. All of Mammoth's trails are open to snowboarders and full snowboard rentals and instruction are available daily. Mammoth has three terrain parks with terrain features for all ability levels.
